Web-Based Waste Management System
The MENRO Waste Recording System provides a centralized web-based platform for recording, monitoring, analyzing, and managing solid waste information in Can-avid, Eastern Samar. It supports MENRO and participating barangays while also providing public access to selected waste-management information and recyclable material services.
About the System
The system was developed to improve the recording, storage, classification, verification, monitoring, and management of solid waste data. Waste information submitted by participating barangays is centrally managed by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO). The system classifies recorded waste as biodegradable, non-biodegradable, or recyclable and provides tools for monitoring waste information through organized records and data visualizations.
The system also incorporates data analytics and forecasting features that transform verified historical waste records into charts, graphs, maps, and estimated waste-generation trends. These features are intended to provide additional information that can support MENRO in waste-management planning and resource allocation.

Email Communication for Material Requests
A client does not need to create an account to request a posted recyclable material. However, a valid and active email address must be provided in the request form. Email serves as the primary communication channel between the client and MENRO and provides a valid point of contact for the submitted request.
After a material request is successfully submitted, the system sends a confirmation email to the address provided by the client. After MENRO reviews the request, an approval or rejection email is sent. If approved, the email contains the approved material details, amount to be paid when applicable, payment due date, and place of payment or material claiming. If rejected, the email contains the reason provided by MENRO.

View recyclable materials currently posted by MENRO. If a suitable material is available, submit a request directly through the website using your valid contact information and email address.
